SPECIALIZED INFRARED ASPHALT RESTORATION
Our repair method is unique to the asphalt repair industry. We utilize a special heating process that makes the asphalt workable again and leaves a seamless thermally bonded repair. The best part is that it's green, meaning we recycle the existing asphalt so we're only using about 5% of new asphalt and as a result it has a 50% smaller carbon footprint over traditional cut and replace methods.
Heating the Asphalt
Using a specialized infrared heater, we heat the asphalt to 350 degrees so it’s soft and can be mixed.
Adding Extra Asphalt
Once the asphalt is up to working temperature, we add enough fresh hot mix asphalt to account for the defect. There is no difference between the old asphalt and the new once it’s mixed.
Compacting the Surface
Once the area has been raked, mixed and leveled, it’s then compacted and ready to drive on immediately.
